Worlds Apart

13 Oct

I see your silhouette in every sunset,
and your voice,
wakes me
with the sunrise.
I see your reflection
in the ocean,
taste your skin
with the sea.
Feel your breath
in every winter wind,
and see your eyes
as the leaves change
in autumn.
When I see the world,
I see you.
All the blues and greens,
and even purples.
The black and white
lines on a page, and
the in-betweens.
But you,
you see a different world.

It’s interesting how when you thought that you were initially so compatible with each other, and, it turns out that you’re totally not, isn’t it?
