In The End

“Why are you smiling?” she asked as she leaned over the casket of

what used to be our brother. A blue, cold, breathless body

in a room of utter despair.

“Because,” I said. “Knowing that it all ends,

is what has given it meaning.”

    That would be a great way of dealing with death, after all, it’s something we ALL have to face, at one time or another in our separate live, well written indeed!

      Thanks. I was thinking about my grandfather’s funeral versus my grandma’s, who passed first. My grandfather’s was much more like this poem!! thanks for reading. xoxo
